"Instead of using cardboard for the body outline we used coraplast (have a look at some at http://www.biketcba.org/TRICORR/projects/coroplast.html),  the stuff they put on small greenhouses.  It is stronger than cardboard.  The face is made from that "flexi-foam" that is found in craft stores,  it paints really nice and makes the paint appear textured, and no shine like
real skin.
The one thing I wished I had done differently would be to make the intestines out of a stiffer cotton,  not the t-shirt fabric that I used, the intestines would stay on a bit better I think,  then again I could use more velcro too. :)" Sarah deKroon
