Teepee Photo and Instructions

"I made the Teepee for Christmas one year, it isn't hard and it was
a real success.
INSTRUCTIONS: I made it out of burlap (which can be gotten cheap) and 1in PVC piping. I also bought a spool of leather string, also not expensive. If you stand up 5 or 6 PVC pipes (make them longer than you want you teepee to be tall) then take the burlap and drape it around, pinning it to hold it in place with a pin. You'll have to add some extra material around the bottom and that can be cut and sewn. I think that that is all the sewing you have to do. I did some extra sewing for reinforcement on the front where you string the leather tie like teepees have. Get a good picture and it should be fairly easy to figure out...I think??? Then you also need some brown yarn that is pretty thick and a yarning needle and that is how you make ties to tie the poles into place. You set it up and just work inside it and sew the string through from the inside and just tie them together. I might have used the leather straps or the yarn. Oh, I know I used both, the string to hold the leather and the leather to tie. Yours can be either way.
My kids absolutely loved it. We have to dig it out of the
garage this year because they want it to use in there annual
Thanksgiving play that my kids alone put on for a neighbour or two.
That and Knott's Berry Farm guns and a big box for the Mayflower
make all the necessary items for the play.
